An Alaska DMV Power of Attorney gives your agent the ability to buy or sell a vehicle on your behalf by allowing them to sign any and all documents relating to title and registration. There are a few requirements that must be met in order for this form to be validated.

Step 1

The form must be completed in full (ink – either printed or hand written).

Step 2

You must give your Application for Title/812 or the Vehicle Transaction Application 821 to your agent along with the completed power of attorney.

Step 3

Double check the form to make sure all the information is correct including the Serial Number (VIN), Year, and Make of the car. Now sign and date the form and have it notarized by a Notary or Alaska DMV Representative.
