An Arkansas Medical Power of Attorney Form is a legal agreement that grants the Attorney-in-Fact power to act on the Principal’s behalf in matters of health care. In many cases this will also empower the Attorney-in-Fact to arrange for the Principal’s funeral and similar, should the Principal pass on.
Note that in Arkansas this kind of agreement (known specifically as a Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care) is a separate from a Living Will. While these two types of forms often go together, in Arkansas they are created and signed separately. If the Principal also wants the Attorney-in-Fact to act on their behalf in the cases of end of life care and the like, they will need to draft a Living Will in addition to Medial Power of Attorney Form.
