A Kentucky Limited Power of Attorney Form is designed to give the Attorney-in-Fact the power to make a specific decision for the Principal or perform a single action for the Principal. This can be as broad as managing the Principal’s investments or a limited as filing the Principal’s tax returns.

Depending on the Principal’s needs, they may wish to sign more than one of these forms, to give the Attorney-in-Fact multiple powers without granting them the broader, less restricted powers granted by a General Power of Attorney Form. Depending on the type of power they are handing over the Attorney-in-Fact they may also wish to put a clause into the agreement specifying that it terminates once the action the Principal needs is completed.
