A West Virginia Limited Power of Attorney Form is designed for a Principal who wishes to delegate a single power or task to their Attorney-in-Fact. Usually this is financial in nature, IE filing taxes, selling or buying property or managing a specific investment, but they can also be used to give the Attorney-in-Fact power over childcare.

These agreements are usually considered a safer alternative to General Power of Attorney agreements, as they require the Principal to put less trust in the Attorney-in-Fact. These agreements are rarely Durable and in fact can be set up to become void once the Attorney-in-Fact has completed the task set out in the agreement.
