The Colorado commercial lease agreement is a rental contact between a retail, industrial, or office property owner and a business entity (or individual) seeking to occupy land or space. If the tenant is requesting for fit-up space, the landlord should verify the company credentials at the Secretary of State and perform a credit check using the commercial application. If the landlord does not feel as though the entity itself is financial good enough for a lease, then the landlord should request one of the principals to authorize and personally guarantee the lease. This may be done through the personal guaranty form.
