The Florida sublease agreement is a form used when a tenant (sublessor) is seeking to rent out part or the whole space that they are currently under lease. The new tenant (sublessee) after signing will have the same rights to the premises as the sublessor unless otherwise stated. Most lease agreements do not allow the act of subletting. Therefore the sublessor should check their original lease to see what it states in regard to this matter. If it is not allowed, written permission from the landlord must be obtained.
