The Iowa sublease agreement is a real estate contract designated for tenants (Original Tenant) that are currently in a fixed lease agreement and decide to allow another individual (Subtenant) to occupy a portion or the entire pace. Almost every standard lease agreement does not allow the act of subletting. Therefore the original tenant will have to obtain permission, usually in writing, from the landlord to be able to start the process.
The original tenant should be aware that they will be fully liable for any physical or financial damage(s) to the property as well as any eviction that may occur.
