A notice to termination a lease agreement¬†either by a landlord or tenant is not due to the breakage of the terms and conditions but rather a decision made for other reasons. Depending on the State, the tenant or landlord may have to give the other party from fifteen (15) to sixty (60) days’ notice.¬†The notice is usually sent via Certified Mail with a Return Receipt for legal purposes. It is recommended to keep the green slip the sender will receive after the notice has been successfully delivered.
