A Michigan Limited Power of Attorney Form is an extremely restricted Power of Attorney agreement that gives the Attorney-in-Fact the power to make a single decision or perform a specific action on behalf of the Principal. This kind of agreement is usually considered a safer alternative to a General Power of Attorney Form, as it has less potential for problems with the Attorney-in-Fact.

Broadly speaking, this will usually be used for a Principal who is capable of making the decision or performing the action in question but wishes to delegate (these actions are usually something simple, such as overseeing investments or paying utilities). Therefore this kind of agreement will rarely be either Springing or Durable, although it could be if the Principal wishes to have a responsibility overseen by another party in case they are incapacitated.
