The North Dakota Power of Attorney Forms are a group of documents that permit one person, known as the Principal, to give another person, known as the Attorney-in-Fact, the legal authority to act on their behalf or make decisions in their place. While there are many different legal terms used to refer to these agreements, two of the most common are Immediate or Springing, indicating the agreement either goes into effect immediately upon being signed or after the Principal has been incapacitated, respectively.
